Once hoped to be the location for the state’s capital, this neighborhood is filled with historic mansions, elegant old craftsman’s and classic brick apartment buildings all nestled on lush tree-lined streets. At the crest of Capitol Hill is sprawling Volunteer Park and the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Within blocks of this serene setting lies Broadway, one of the edgier sidewalk scenes in Seattle.
